Internal Audit Manager \ SOX PMO (San Francisco)

We are recruiting for a recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager for our San Francisco client  – a company that has transformed the way people exercise and keep track of their fitness/health goals.

This is a newly created role for this growing department.  The Internal Audit Manger will report directly to the VP of Internal Audit.  This individual will act as the SOX PMO going into Year 2 of SOX (the company IPO’d in 2015).  In this next year they will focus on further maturing and developing the SOX program, working closing with internal stakeholders and the external co-source partner.  Moving forward, this individual will also take on a portfolio of risk-based operational audits.

What would make you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant professional certification; CPA preferred
  • 6-12 years progressive experience in Audit
  • 3-5 years in Big 4 preferred
  • Significant experience with SOX; including controls testing, COSO framework, PCAOB standards
    • Experience maturing SOX program a plus
  • Additional experience in Internal risk-based operational audit
  • Ability to function in a fast past growth company and dynamic culture
  • Strong Visio skills strongly preferred
  • Data analytics skills strongly preferred
  • Experience in an SAP environment a plus
