Todd Weinman is the President and Founder of The Weinman Group, an executive search firm serving the Audit and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) niche. He brings three decades experience as a trusted advisor to companies in their search for outstanding talent, and to Audit and GRC professionals looking to accelerate their careers. He is a is a prior recipient of the coveted “Consultant of the Year” award, given each year by the California Association of Personnel Consultants (now, the California Staffing Professionals). One individual recruiter in the State of California is selected each year for this honor.

Todd graduated with High Distinction from the University of California-Berkeley with a degree in European Intellectual History. Prior to entering the field of Executive Recruiting, Todd worked for several years for a Big 4 Public Accounting firm.  He spent fourteen years with a national boutique search firm focused on Internal Audit, leading the Western U.S. reaching. He founded The Weinman Group in 2009.

Todd has a 20-plus year association with ISACA. He was on the Board of the San Francisco Chapter of ISACA for a decade, and has served as the Chapter President. He is a co-Founder of the San Francisco ISACA Fall Conference, and has been a co-Chair since the conference’s inception in 2001. At the International level, Todd has chaired the Leadership Development Committee and the Career Management Task Force, as well as serving on the Professional Standards and Career Management Committee and the Credentialing and Career Management Board.

Todd is a frequently requested speaker for ISACA, IIA, MISTI and universities. Prior speaking engagements have included the IIA General Audit Management (GAM) Conference, the ISACA North American CACS, the Phoenix Audit and Security Conference (keynote), the ISACA World Congress Insights conference, and the MISTI/IIA ITAC conference, in addition to frequent presentations for ISACA and IIA Chapter events. He has written articles and/or been interviewed for a variety of publications including: The Wall Street Journal, Computerworld, CIO.com, and The Huffington Post.

When he is not recruiting, Todd pursues his passion for music as a professional freelance musician. In addition to having spent four years performing with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Santiago, Chile, Todd has performed music on four continents, and has performed with diverse ensembles, including the San Francisco Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Opera San Jose, the Aspen Summer Music Festival, and Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble, in addition to having performed at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival.
